I can support on both sides of public procurements for residual waste tenders in the capacity of developing tender specifications, evaluating bidders submission, working with bidders to develop a commercial solution, review submissions to ensure the bid is market competitive. 

In 2007 I embarked on one of the most comprehensive reviews of the HWRC market with my employer at the time. This is where I got the bug for tendering and managing these contracts. Have had many successes in this sector including Stoke, Barnsley Doncaster, Rotherham and Enfield. In more recent times this has expanded to installing reuse shops on site. 

I have tendered for numerous MRF contracts over the years and I also let on behalf of the North London Waste Authority the largest MRF contract in the Country over 100kt per annum. 

I set up the materials marketing function with an old colleague in one of the top 5 UK waste companies. Extensive knowledge in trading commodities from MRF's, HWRC, transfer stations. I set up the initial RDF export route from Clydeport in 2013 completing TFS documents and working with EfW directly in Sweden.
